Pike Place

When in Seattle, one must visit Pike Place Market. You know what I'm talking about, it's famous. We went on a Sunday, and it was crowded, busy, and buzzing. It's kind of big, and slightly confusing. There's one section that is one long room with a bunch of different vendors. There's another section where people have permanent spots with their own storefronts. And yet another building. Plus people selling stuff outside. And busking. And doing cooking demonstrations. And all other kinds of random stuff. It's hopping.
And yes, you have to check out the dudes who throw the fish. Now I've seen it in person. Now they only throw it when someone actually buys fish, so you do have to hang out a bit. Most people are watching, not buying. But once someone does actually buy some food, they'll throw it. It makes me think whether it's good to be tossing around today's catch. Does it damage the fish at all? Does it make it more tender? I have no idea, but it's fun to watch.
